    Position Requirements: The Audio Engineer brings professional expertise to manage and optimize sound systems, ensuring clear, high-quality audio for all events. This is crucial for maintaining the reputation and standards of the TC. They can handle the technical complexities of audio equipment,
    reducing the risk of sound issues during live performances, which can be detrimental to both performers and audience experiences. Superior audio quality enhances the overall experience for attendees, making events more enjoyable and memorable. A skilled Audio Engineer can balance sound levels, eliminate feedback, and ensure that every seat in the house has optimal audio. Positive audience experiences can lead to higher attendance rates, repeat visits, and favorable events, contributing to the Transformation success. By having a dedicated Audio Engineer, the production team can streamline operations, with a professional who understands the intricacies of the house system and can quickly adapt to various event requirements. This efficiency reduces the need for outsourcing or hiring temporary technicians, which can be more expensive and less reliable.

    HANDS (Responsibilities + Duties)

    • Recruit, equip, encourage, and disciple audio contractors and volunteers
    • Work with Production Director and Audio Director to provide audio support and best practices
    • Church-wide Balance and blend audio sources (vocals, instruments, effects) to achieve Work with Production Director and Audio Systems Engineer to Design and configure the sound system setup for TC venues.
    • Work closely with artists, performers, and production teams to meet specific audio requirements.
    • Collaborate with the Audio Director in the purchase and maintenance of all essential audio equipment
    • Operate the mixing console during performances to manage sound levels and quality.
    • Provide reports on audio performance and suggest improvements for future events.
    • Collaborate with Worship Pastor, Music Director, Lead Pastor and Audio Director in supporting audio vision and direction for Transformation Worship
    • Support front of house sound for Transformation-owned venues, as well as conferences.
    • All other duties as assigned

    HEAD (Knowledge + Training)

    • REQUIRED: 5-10 years of experience within Audio/Visual industry and/or church live production
    • Expert knowledge of SSL Live, Yamaha, Lawo, Waves, UAD, Pro Tools, and network audio
    • Highly tech-savvy, able to learn and master new technology quickly and thoroughly
    • Ability to train and develop volunteers on equipment
    • Ability to resolve conflict in calming manner
    • Proficiency in using audio software and digital audio workstations (DAWs).
    • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve audio issues.
    • Ability to work under pressure and handle unexpected technical challenges.
    • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with performers and production teams.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Physical Requirements: Capability to lift and carry heavy audio equipment.
    • Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, used on event schedules.
    • Proficient computer skills with Apple, Microsoft, and Google products and the ability to learn TC-used databases and technologies
