Full time Safety Associate position is available. POSITION BEGINS AT $21.06 AN HOUR (bonus- Second Shift gets a shift differential on top of this!). Step progression increases are offered with length of service. This position offers AWESOME BENEFITS including:

Associates in this position work in our Weld or Seat Assembly production areas building automobile seats. People with an eye for detail and a passion for quality are needed for this position. Our products are high quality and require excellence in each stage of production to ensure they are safe and superbly built. Our Associates have to be TS Tech Alabama tough as our processes require the ability to lift seat frames, have high manual dexterity, and perform detailed processes repetitively.

JOB SUMMARY:

PROVIDES ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT TO THE ORGANIZATION’S SAFETY AND HEALTH FUNCTIONS

JOB DUTIES

· Conduct site-specific orientation training program and implement program of all onsite staff

· Conduct and document safety inspections

· Assist in investigations involving property damage, safety violations, near misses and injuries

· Lead safety committee meetings on second shift

· Assist with Job Hazards Analysis for work stations

· Gathers data and prepares reports for management

· Second shift Emergency Response Coordinator

· Identification and mitigation of potential safety hazards

· Assist in ensuring compliance with internal safety policies and federal, state and local laws

· Assist with assessment of work stations for ergonomic concerns

· Other duties may be requested by Safety Manager

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

· High School diploma/GED

· Entry level safety knowledge

· OSHA 30 hour certified(preferred)

· At least 2 years of manufacturing knowledge

· A valid driver’s license

· Computer knowledge to include Microsoft programs

· ISO knowledge (preferred, but not required)

Positions begin at $18.59 an hour (bonus- Second Shift gets a shift differential on top of this!). Step progression increases are offered with length of service. This position is available on second shift (6pm – 2:30am). The plant operates Monday through Friday. During peak operation, occasional weekends are required. Currently offering generous amounts of overtime, as well as optional Double time.
