    POSITION SUMMARY:

    AGBO is an artist-led Academy Award-Winning independent studio focused on developing and producing innovative story universes spanning film, TV, and digital platforms. Founded in 2017 by award-winning and record-breaking directors Anthony and Joe Russo, AGBO's mission is to inspire and advance the next generation of storytelling to entertain and influence worldwide audiences. AGBOs recent productions include “Everything Everywhere All At Once,” Netflix's “The Gray Man,” Amazon thriller series “Citadel,” and Netflix's sequel, “Extraction 2”.

    The Television Executive is responsible for identifying, acquiring, and developing TV projects that align with AGBO's brand, franchises, and cinematic universe vision. This role oversees the full lifecycle of series development and production, provides strategic direction, and maintains key relationships within the creative community.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**

    • Define and execute the overall TV strategy aligned with AGBO's brand and creative goals, emphasizing groundbreaking content and cinematic universes.

    • Develop compelling materials to present strategic initiatives to executive leadership.

    • Build and sustain relationships with the creative community to ensure a continuous pipeline of high-quality TV projects.

    • Act as the leader of the TV department in the absence of the President of Television, ensuring seamless internal communication and project continuity.

    • Lead the development process from concept through production, ensuring creative alignment at every stage.

    • Provide solutions to creative and logistical challenges during development, production, and post-production.

    • Review scripts, treatments, and other creative materials, providing detailed and actionable feedback.

    • Write and develop pitches, concept decks, and creative briefs to secure leadership approval for projects.

    • Collaborate with Business Affairs to facilitate smooth and efficient negotiation processes.

    • Apply knowledge of audiences and trends to frame projects strategically and creatively.

    • Share project updates and changes with internal and external stakeholders as needed.

    • Oversee the production of new and existing series from initial concept through final delivery.

    • Partner with post-production teams to guide editing and ensure timely delivery of the final product.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with writers, showrunners, and talent, ensuring effective communication throughout all phases of production.

    • Work closely with production teams to manage budgets, schedules, and logistics for complex or high-priority projects.

    • Represent AGBO in external meetings related to ongoing projects.

    • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering professional growth and development.

    • Support additional duties as assigned to contribute to the success of the Television department.

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:**

    • 10+ years of professional experience.
    • Deep understanding of audience preferences and entertainment trends, with the ability to apply insights creatively.
    • Proficient in crafting compelling narratives and communicating creative ideas effectively.
    • Self-starter with a proactive mindset, capable of leading projects and teams autonomously.
    • Strong creative and strategic problem-solving abilities.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with high-level talent.
    • Precision in managing multiple projects and ensuring quality in every aspect.
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
    • Demonstrated success in developing and producing high-profile television series.

    _The typical base salary for this position ranges from $225,000 - $425,000 annually. Actual offers will be determined based on experience.
