    Are you ready to take on an exhilarating role as a Quality Technician at our thriving High Point, NC facility? This position is your gateway to an exciting journey within our quality-driven environment. As part of our esteemed team, you'll directly report to our Quality Manager/Quality Engineer, collaborating closely with our dynamic quality team to uphold the highest standards of productivity, quality, and safety.

    Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, from meticulously following procedures and work instructions to assisting our R&D team on research projects and improvement initiatives. You'll be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing overall quality, ensuring both internal and external customer satisfaction remains paramount.

    Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining physical testing equipment both in our lab and on the production floor. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in providing invaluable support and guidance on projects related to lab testing and analysis. By conducting thorough evaluations of products, processes, and potential raw materials, you'll contribute significantly to our ongoing success.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in performing each essential duty with satisfaction.     • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

    • Nonwovens experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

    • Proficiency in operating testing equipment and conducting lab testing.

    • Basic computer and mathematical skills.

    • Effective verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to collaborate within a team environment and work independently.

    • Comfort working in a hot/cold manufacturing environment, with the capacity to stand or sit for extended periods.

    • Capability to transport or handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

    • Aptitude for understanding and comprehending simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.

    • Ability to present information effectively in both one-on-one and small group settings to supervisors and colleagues.

    • Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend as necessary for a 24-7 continuous operation, in alignment with business demands.
