We are responsible for the design and implementation of fuel assembly designs (including our robust HTP fuel, and our newest products ATRIUM-11 and GAIA), development and implementation of advanced codes and methods, and development of accident tolerant fuel and advanced fuel management products.
The Framatome Fuel Design group is currently seeking a PWR Fuel Design Engineer at our Lynchburg, Virginia location. This is an engineering position on the PWR Fuel Mechanical Product Development Team, which maintains the bill of materials and associated technical design definition documents for PWR Fuel, manages design changes with competence of design bases, interfaces with and supports external suppliers, manufacturing, and other engineering disciplines, and performs basic mechanical design analyses.
