Job Summary

We are seeking a Tailor to join our team! As a Tailor, you will primarily be working in a production environment. You will play a crucial role in providing quality service by creating clothing for soft targets and meticulously sewing various manufacturing products. You will be responsible for pattern design, offering creative solutions, and then performing the necessary cutting, pinning, and sewing to create the desired product. The ideal candidate must have experience sewing, is familiar with the basics of tailoring, and have strong atention to details.

Responsibilities

Measuring and cutting: Taking precise measurements of foam boards and fabric, then cutting them to the required size and shape.

Pattern Creation: Creating patterns and documentation for new sewn product

Sewing and Attaching: Stitching fabric onto foam boards, ensuring a secure fit. This will involve using specialized sewing machines or hand- sewing techniques.

Altering and Tailoring: Ensures clothing fits and functions properly

Quality Control: Inspecting the final product for any defects or inconsistencies.

Collaboration: Working closely with the engineering team to develop material/fabric patters for proper fit and to achieve the desired outcome.

Sewing Machine Maintenance: Adhere to maintenance schedules for sewing machines, including cleaning, oiling, and troubleshooting issues.

Qualifications

Experience with tailoring desired

Experience with customer service desired

Excellent attention to detail
