Tajima America Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of TAJIMA Industries Ltd, Japan. Due to our rapid growth our Tech Department is growing as well. You will have the opportunity to train with the regions premier Embroidery Machine Technical Staff that have over 50 years of experience. The Tech Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all makes of TAJIMA embroidery machines. The department troubleshoots problems and provides repairs in a professional and timely manner. This department must be able to provide our customers with an excellent experience. Skill Requirements * Mechanically Inclined (numerous hand and power tools as well as electrical and measuring devices are used in this department) * Strong organizational skills * Ability to interpret exploded blueprints of machines * Ability to understand, interpret and apply complex electrical schematics and the ability to install required components * Ability to manage, organize and stock inventory and tools * Ability to locate and order parts on-line * Ability to communicate to and/or educate staff and customers on proper maintenance and operation of machines * Ability to lift loads of at least 75 pounds and bend and stoop while working on equipment Specific Tasks * Provide quality and timely repairs for all customers * Dis-assemble and assemble a wide variety of Embroidery machines * Diagnose problems * Troubleshoot electronics and various circuit boards
