    Location: Mexico Lindo Restaurant 81 East St. Vernon Rockville, CT, 06066

    Job Type: Part-Time (Must be available weekends!)

    Shift: 4 PM to Close

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Takeout Order Specialist to join our team. This role involves ensuring that takeout orders are prepared, packed, labeled, and delivered to customers in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Order Processing: Input takeout orders into the system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

    Food Packing & Labeling: Carefully pack food items into containers, ensuring food is secure and prepared according to customer specifications. Label each order clearly with the customer’s name and order details.

    Customer Service: Greet customers upon arrival, verify the details of their order, and provide any necessary assistance or information regarding their takeout.

    Payment Handling: Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments, and provide accurate change or receipts to customers.

    Order Handoff: Deliver orders to customers in a timely manner, ensuring that all items are included, packaged correctly, and meet the company’s quality standards.

    Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized workspace, ensuring that takeout orders are processed efficiently and the area remains tidy.

    Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and packed quickly and accurately, minimizing customer wait time.

    Qualifications:

    Ability to speak Spanish is very strongly preferred.

    Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred, but not required.

    Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Basic knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling.

    Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
