    Job Title: Industrial Painter I

    What You'll Do:**

    • Paint parts and units and/or guide the loading of products on to the paint conveyor.

    • Ensure proper part flow, sequence and quality to meet assembly line and customer requirements.

    • Hang parts and kits on paint line in sequence according to direction from planning and scheduling department.

    • Operate lift and burn-off oven.

    • Set-up, operate, and maintain automatic powder booths and shut down paint line equipment.

    • Checks completed parts to ensure compliance to Worcester Plant Quality standards and makes necessary adjustments when required to meet quality goals.

    In this function, you will :

    • Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary.
    • Adhere to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions.
    • Assist the team in achieving plant and department goals.
    • Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement.
    • Foster an environment that promotes Eaton's goals and philosophies, encouraging continuous improvement through participation and teamwork.
    • Have a general knowledge of the Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS).
    • Perform other duties as required.

    Required Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
    • Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographic area (50-mile radius) will be considered.
    • 3+ months experience in light to medium industrial manufacturing environment.
    • Must be able to pass the Pulmonary Function Test to perform the functions of the job.
    • 1+ years' experience in light to medium industrial manufacturing environment.
    • Knowledge of basic shop math.

    Preferred Skills

    • Requires frequent standing and bending. Must be able to regularly lift up-to 35-pounds and occasionally lift 35-50-pounds.
    • Ability to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions.
    • Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions
