Join the growing NY craft beverage industry! Deer Run Winery is seeking a full-time tasting room associate to work in our family owned and operated farm winery on Conesus Lake!

Tasting Room Associate Job Duties

Clean tasting room and restrooms before opening

Sample wines for customers, speak knowledgeably about the products, sell products

Manage a cash drawer / balance register at end of shift

Seat customers in our Tank Room café

Answer phone calls as needed, make reservations for café and/or tasting room

Keep tasting room bar stocked / organized and clean

Provide customers with an exceptional customer service experience

Sample wines for up to 12-15 people at a time (during busiest times)

Inform customers of other tourism destinations in our region - promote the area

Track inventory of retail items / replenish and create retail displays

Candidate should possess the following qualities:

Pride in appearance and be neatly kept

Excellent customer service skills

Enjoy speaking with a wide variety of people

Have a love of wine and eagerness to learn about winemaking and the wine industry

Availability to work weekends (schedule includes working Thursday – Monday)
