The firm is expanding and looking to hire a highly experienced and motivated Tax & Accounting Director to join their growing firm. Qualified candidates will have strong business acumen and substantial experience with tax planning, compliance, accounting, and complex tax returns. This is a management position and will require providing counsel, leadership, and oversight of accounting professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of accountants and tax professionals.
• Provide strategic tax planning and compliance for clients.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other directors and partners to drive firm growth.

Qualifications:

• CPA license required
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax and accounting, preferably with a public accounting firm.
• Prior leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
