District Partners has recently been exclusively engaged by a highly-reputable firm in the Nashville area that is looking to add 2 professionals to their team in preparation for growth between now and the end of 2024. Responsibilities:
- Prepare federal and state income taxes for businesses (partnerships and corporations), estates and individuals. Tax preparation takes place throughout the year.
- Provide year end close services in conjunction with tax preparation, demonstrating strong knowledge of financial statements and correlation between balance sheet, income statement and cash flow.
- Complete attest services: review and compilation.
- Perform strategic tax planning and business consulting for clients in a wide variety of industries.
- Participate in year-end tax planning for self-employed individuals and flow through entities.
- Review and respond to state and federal IRS notices and/or audit requests.
- Calculate gains, losses, basis, and future impact of transactions for businesses and individuals.
- Assist clients with bookkeeping structure, design, and services.
- Support and assist audit team as required on large audit projects.
- Maintain and build client relationships, creating a sense of trust and partnership.
- Understand multiple business models and implication of tax codes on business management decisions.
Education and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA Certification
- 5+ years prior public accounting tax experience.
- QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor certification preferred

- Able to work independently, problem solve and multitask, but can ask for help and communicate needs to be successful.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills: Tax software, QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite
