SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
A Tax Associate prepares various types of federal and state tax returns for clients across a variety of industries. This role also assists with tax planning and consulting projects as well as related research.
SUCCESSFUL CHARACTERISTICS
· Strong analytical & critical-thinking skills, detail and deadline oriented, and the ability to multitask.
· Positive attitude with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
· Preparation of nonprofit, business and individual tax returns.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook; Adobe Acrobat and tax preparation software.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· 1-3 years of experience preparing tax returns.
· CPA track.
· College undergraduate degree in a related field.
This position can be in-office, fully remote or hybrid.
