Responsibilities: • Provide expert legal counsel on tax planning strategies, ensuring clients optimize their financial well-being. • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, offering tailored tax planning and solutions. • Manage and support tax-related transactions, compliance, and audits as needed. • Work with a team of professionals to provide holistic, client-centered legal services. • Maintain meticulous records and documentation to support client cases and firm objectives. • Research and analyze complex tax issues to provide accurate legal advice and solutions. • Represent clients in federal and state tax audits and investigations. • Prepare and file legal documents related to tax matters, such as tax returns and appeals. • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities for clients. • Collaborate with clients and other professionals, such as accountants and financial advisors, to develop comprehensive tax strategies. Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the State Bar. • LLM in Taxation or specialized tax certifications (preferred). • Proven experience in tax planning and compliance. • Strong client service orientation with an empathetic, friendly, and patient approach. • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. • Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively. Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 yearly
