    • Tax Research: Conduct in-depth tax research to address client-specific needs.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the Client Services department to align with the accounting needs of business clients.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required; CPA certification is mandatory.
    • Experience: At least 5 years in public accounting with a focus on managing individual and business tax returns.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency with tax software (experience with CCH ProSystem FX or CCH Axcess is a plus).
    • Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines efficiently.
    • Attention to Detail: Ability to handle multiple projects with precision.
    • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    • Retirement Plan: SIMPLE IRA with company contributions.
    • Professional Growth: Reimbursement for continuing education and CPA license renewal.
    • Paid Time Off: Enjoy paid holidays and vacation.
    • Medical Benefits: Access to the company’s medical benefits plan.
    • Flexibility: Hybrid work schedule with remote options available.

    Work-Life Balance:
With a maximum of 2,100 hours per year, this role offers flexibility compared to larger firms, where annual hours can exceed 2,400 or more. This model promotes work-life balance while still providing room for career growth and advancement without the need to work excessive hours.
