Professional Search Group – OC has partnered with a growing CPA firm and we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join their team in Anaheim, CA. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tax preparation and management, with a focus on building and maintaining trusted relationships with clients across various industries, including agriculture, construction, real estate, and high net worth individuals. This role requires a CPA certification and at least 2-3 years of experience supervising and training staff and senior accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation of federal, multi-state, and international corporate tax returns, including consolidated and separate entities, partnerships, individual returns, not-for-profit organizations, estates, and trusts.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their goals and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
• Collaborate with Managers, Directors, and Partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Supervise, mentor, and train Staff and Senior Accountants, ensuring their professional growth and development.
• Utilize CCH software for tax preparation and management (experience with CCH software is a plus).
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications:

• CPA certification is required.
• 2+ years of experience in supervising and training staff in a tax management role.
• Strong knowledge of federal, multi-state, and international tax regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work 100% in-office in Anaheim, CA, with the option to transition to a hybrid schedule (2 days from home, 3 days in-office) after 6 months.
