We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting and a comprehensive understanding of financial concepts, asset management, and general ledger accounting.
Qualifications

understanding of financial concepts, asset management, and general ledger accounting
Proven experience in public accounting with a focus on tax management
Strong knowledge of financial analysis, auditing practices, and general ledger accounting
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and guidelines
Provide guidance on tax planning strategies to optimize the organization's tax position
Collaborate with internal teams to analyze financial data and prepare reports for management review
Familiar with QuickBooks software for efficient financial tracking and reporting for clients
Assist junior staff members, providing training and mentorship as needed
Demonstrate strong knowledge and understanding of specialized industry and/or regulatory requirements
Help to manage and monitor preparation and review of complex S Corporation, C Corporation, partnership, multistate and individual tax returns, including projections and estimate calculations
Assist to manage the workflow, including proper delegation to staff according to their experience
Review the tax working papers and determine that the engagement has been performed in accordance with professional standards and the terms of the engagement letter
Conduct tax research to develop innovative solutions for our clients
Participate in and actively seeks training to maintain current technical knowledge
