JOB OVERVIEW:

• Perform outreach to company provided, existing clients to prepare current year returns
• Prepare individual and business tax returns and ensure their proper, accurate, and timely submission
• Properly research and seek the advice of senior preparers when confronted with particularly challenging tax circumstances
• Communicate with clients regarding their tax preparation services
• Inform clients of important paperwork and documentation needed to complete tax returns properly

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with clients to obtain personal information regarding potential deductions, educational grants, or allowances
• Work diligently and prioritize cases appropriately
• Work with our clients best interest in mind at all times

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong multi-tasker
• Proficient computer skills (Typing, Microsoft Office, and email)
• Logics CRM experience a plus!
• CTEC LICENSED (ACTIVE) & PTIN
• 2+ YEARS OF TAX PREPARATION EXPERIENCE
• PROFICIENT WITH INDIVIDUAL AND BUSINESS TAX RETURNS
• Professional experience working with confidential and sensitive information
• Ability to prioritize daily tasks and meet timely obligations with a high volume of assigned caseloads.
• Knowledge of accounting processes and advanced mathematical skills
• Skilled using tax preparation software and experience in troubleshooting common tax program problems
• Experience consulting tax handbooks or other printed materials to determine the proper procedure for preparing challenging returns
• Strong written and communications skills
