Role:
Senior Tax Accountant – Responsible for managing tax compliance, planning, and preparation across multiple entities. The position ensures accurate tax filings and tax relationships for pass-through entities, which impact both the companies and individual stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and/or review federal and state tax compliance, including partnership and S-Corp returns.
- Oversee federal, state, and flow-through entity tax returns in coordination with external consultants.
- Analyze and document applicable tax credits, manage tax accruals, and prepare monthly general ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal accounting teams, safeguard confidential financial information, and ensure accurate intercompany cash movements.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years in tax, specifically with partnerships, S-Corps, and individual tax compliance.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP is a plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of U.S. income tax regulations, particularly for pass-through entities and multi-state returns.
