REMOTE CUSTOMER SUPPORT SPECIALIST

TaxSlayer is currently looking for individuals to become a part of our Customer Support team for the upcoming tax season! As a Remote Customer Support Specialist, you will work with our TaxSlayer Pro customers to provide assistance with the TaxSlayer Pro software.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work from Home (WFH) as a Remote Support Specialist. This position requires you to communicate directly with our customers via phone, email, and/or chat and provide clear, trustworthy assistance. You will work in a fast-paced environment and guide our customers through the TaxSlayer Pro software, sometimes aiding them with tax questions and solving problems.

*You do not need to be a tax expert in this role, nor will you be preparing taxes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High speed internet and a dedicated workspace in your home
• A High School Diploma, or equivalent
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Applicant must reside in either Georgia or South Carolina

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in bookkeeping/accounting or working in a general office setting
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• Familiarity with computers in a professional capacity
• Prior tax return preparation experience (even if it was just your own tax return)

JOB DETAILS:

This is remote, seasonal/part-time position that will end on or before April 23, 2021. Pay for this position starts at $13/hour. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 9:00 PM, Saturday 9:00AM to 5:00PM, and Sunday 12:00PM to 4:00PM. This allows us to make our shifts flexible, meaning we can more easily accommodate you. A typical shift will range from 6 to 9 hours. On average, our support representatives will get anywhere from 30 to 50 hours per week. No prior knowledge or certifications are required. We will teach you all you need to know
