Title : Dispatcher , PM Shift

Reports to: Shipping Department

Salary: $20.10

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION :

• Ability to Dispatch and receive trucks in and out of the facility in an efficient matter.

• Deal with Sales Department, Truck Drivers, Loaders, and office activities

• Must provide excellent customer service to Customers, Brokers, Sales Department on the phone and at the window.

• Responsible for double checking Office paperwork example: Loading Manifest, Bill of Ladings, counts on the orders making sure they match to avoid miss loads.

• Responsible for sending reports, sending E-mails, putting loads on I-trade transit.

• Must provide support to Sales Department and Shipping Department crew.

• The candidate will be responsible for checking trucks in and out efficiently.

• The candidate will be responsible for scheduling customer pick up appointments efficiently and maintaining acceptable load times.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

• Must have computer program knowledge (excel, word)

• Must be a fast learner and work with minimal supervision.

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Must be flexible to work different hours and days of the week.

• Must have excellent math skills.

• Must work well with others on the job (example: rotators, loaders, truck drivers, customers, brokers).

• Good attendance is a must.

• Must keep up with a fast-paced environment.

• The candidate must be a team player.

• Must be able to work weekends.
