Job Description: Primrose School of Paramus is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Part-Time Teacher Assistant/Floater to join our team! This role is essential in providing support to classrooms and staff throughout the day. As a floater, you’ll assist with various tasks, including supervising children, helping with activities, and ensuring a safe and positive learning environment. If you enjoy working with young children and thrive in a flexible, dynamic setting, we’d love to meet you!

Responsibilities:

Support lead teachers in multiple classrooms, engaging with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

Assist in implementing classroom activities and daily routines.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by following health and safety guidelines.

Prepare and maintain a clean, organized classroom environment.

Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and children.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in early childhood education or working with young children preferred.

Flexibility and willingness to assist in various classrooms as needed.

CPR and First Aid certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Hours: This is a part-time position with hours of 8 am to 2:30 pm or 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
