    Position Summary

    To represent Mr. Fries Man in a professional manner to reflect values and standards of its mission, goals, and values.

    Assists in inspiring and developing the team, upholding Mr. Fries Man’s high standards.

    Will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance in utilization of training tools to Team Members and assist the Manager as needed.

    To provide friendly, responsive, and exceptional customer service to all Mr. Fries Man guests.

    Essential Responsibilities

    Provides knowledge to all Mr. Fries Man team members and empowers the team to provide great guest service and awareness.

    To assure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations, laws, and guidelines such as DHEC, EEOC, OSHA, DOL, ADA, HIPAA, Workers’ Comp, SCDEW, etc. to include compliance requirements on company bulletin boards.

    To assist in training and development for front and back of house team members.

    Take guest’s food orders and informs guests of menu and makes recommendations accordingly.

    Demonstrates knowledge of the brand and menu items by answering questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.

    To handle cash and credit transactions.

    Works with kitchen staff to meet any special requirements for ingredients and preparation of food.

    Works with kitchen staff to handle guest’s drive thru experience. Prepare drive thru orders, handle drive thru transactions and ensure food is delivered promptly and courteously.

    Delivers food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.

    Maintains cleanliness and organization in the service area.

    Ensure the register area is monitored and team members are present at the register upon guest arrival.

    Monitors and observes guest’s dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.

    Thanks guests for their visit and invite them to return.

    Delegates tasks to front and back of the house team regarding day-to-day operations.

    Ensure team members are following company policies and procedures appropriately.

    Ensure the building is secured at the end of night. All doors are properly locked and security system (ADT) is activated (alarmed.)

    Ensures team members can enter the building upon their arrival.

    Ensure team members are satisfactorily completing open and closing duties, including checklists.

    Assist Manager to implement best practices.

    Assists with counting inventory, as needed.

    Assists with morning or closing administrative duties as assigned by Manager.

    Accurately handle cash transactions and satisfactorily complete night deposit, as needed.

    Ensures restaurant is running efficiently while Manager is absent.

    Attends all scheduled team member meetings/training and brings suggestions for improvements.

    Take the necessary meal and rest breaks accordingly.

    Ensure team members take the necessary meal and rest breaks accordingly.

    Takes necessary and/or recommended management and leadership training as requested by Manager.

    Other duties assigned by Mr. Fries Man.

    Possess excellent math skills and can operate a cash register or Point Of Sale system.

    Computer literate using Microsoft Office. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.

    Must be able to communicate (speak, read, write) in the primary language of the work location.

    Education/Experience Requirements

    High School Diploma or GED preferred

    One (1) year Restaurant experience required

    Management experience preferred

    Cash handling experience a plus

    Knowledge of TOAST POS system preferred not required

    Current and valid Food Handler’s Certificate

    Current and valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

    Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

    Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.

    Must be 18 years of age or older

    Physical Demands

    Stands/walks continuously (up to 5 hours) through the shift. Frequent bending, bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat, use hands, reaching or grasping with hands and arms. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work under pressure and be flexible to work long, sometimes irregular hours including weekends and holidays.

    Working Environment

    Must comply with Company’s Appearance and Dress Code standard as set forth in the Employee Handbook. Works primarily in the kitchen, where air may be moist, warm, and odorous from cooking foods. Kitchen floors are uneven and may be slippery from moisture and grease.
