Job Overview:
Prime Pest Solutions, a family-owned pest control company, is seeking a motivated and organized Team Leader/Recruiter to lead and grow a high-performing sales team. This role combines leadership, recruitment, and hands-on sales responsibilities to drive business growth through door-to-door sales efforts. The ideal candidate will excel at recruiting and mentoring sales professionals while actively participating in field activities to set an example for the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top-performing sales professionals who align with Prime Pest Solutions’ core values.
Write compelling job descriptions and manage postings on relevant platforms, including job boards, social media, and community groups.
Actively source candidates through networking, outreach, and partnerships with schools, trade organizations, and local community events.
Conduct initial screenings, interviews, and assessments to identify high-potential candidates for the sales team.
Manage the onboarding process to ensure new hires are equipped with the tools, training, and knowledge to succeed.
Sales Team Leadership:
Build and lead a motivated door-to-door sales team focused on generating new business and growing the company’s customer base.
Participate in door-to-door sales alongside the team to demonstrate best practices and lead by example.
Set clear sales goals and expectations for the team, providing regular coaching and mentorship to ensure high performance.
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the team’s skills in customer interaction, objection handling, and product knowledge.
Monitor individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback and implementing improvement plans as needed.
Field Leadership:
Organize and coordinate door-to-door sales campaigns in targeted neighborhoods within the greater Portland metro area.
Actively engage in sales activities, knocking on doors and interacting with potential customers to drive sales and build rapport.
Foster a competitive but supportive team atmosphere to encourage collaboration and accountability.
Troubleshoot challenges in the field, such as addressing customer concerns or adjusting strategies based on feedback.
Operational Support:
Collaborate with management to align recruitment and sales goals with overall business objectives.
Assist in scheduling and logistics to ensure efficient deployment of sales teams.
Report sales performance metrics and recruitment updates to management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Culture Building:
Cultivate a positive and dynamic team culture that reflects Prime Pest Solutions’ core values: integrity, positivity, initiative, accountability, and adaptability.
Recognize and celebrate team and individual achievements to boost morale and retention.
Organize team-building events and maintain open communication channels between management and sales staff.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, recruitment, or team leadership, with a preference for door-to-door sales experience.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on relationship-building and conflict resolution.
High level of organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
