    Position Summary

    Duck Donuts is seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as Shop Team Members. This role is essential to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the high-quality standards of our products.     Key Responsibilities

    Customer Service: Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all guests.

    Order Preparation: Prepare and customize donuts according to Duck Donuts’ standards, including frying, coating, topping, and drizzling.

    Beverage Preparation: Create a variety of hot, iced, and frozen beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, and milkshakes.

    Cash Handling: Operate the cash register accurately, handle transactions, and provide correct change to customers.

    Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the kitchen, serving area, and customer seating area. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.

    Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient and smooth shop operations. Assist with training new employees as needed.

    Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels, restocking supplies, and informing the manager of any shortages.

    Promotional Activities: Support the rollout of promotional campaigns and limited-time offers by staying informed and communicating them effectively to customers.

    Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and courteously.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred but not required.

    Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

    Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.

    Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

    Must be available to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    Must be at least 18 years old to operate certain equipment (e.g., donut fryer).
