    Position Summary

    To represent Mr. Fries Man in a professional manner to reflect values and standards of its mission, goals, and values.

    Responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with Mr. Fries Man recipes.

    Responsible for ensuring that the final plate preparation and presentation is within Mr. Fries Man standards.

    To provide friendly, responsive, and exceptional customer service to all Mr. Fries Man guests.

    Essential Responsibilities

    Greets customers.

    Receives payment by cash or credit cards.

    Issues receipts or change to customers. Provides correct change to customers with minimal to no errors.

    Accurately rings up transactions with minimal or no voids or errors.

    Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.

    Assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.

    Maintains clean and orderly checkout area, dining area, bathroom area, and parking lot areas.

    Complete opening and closing duties and checklists accurately and thoroughly.

    Reviews plates to ensure customer order matches customer ticket.

    Clocks in and out of the restaurant in a timely manner.

    Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, French fries, and other food items for cooking in ovens and fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment.

    Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served.

    Knows and complies with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.

    Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.

    Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.

    Prepare drive thru orders, handle drive thru transactions and ensure food is delivered promptly and courteously.

    Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, sinks, ovens, fryers, etc.

    Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.

    Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.

    Performs dishwashing and proper cleaning of all areas throughout shift.

    Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations and assists others in closing the kitchen.

    Takes necessary meal and rest breaks accordingly.

    Clocks in and out of the restaurant in a timely manner.

    Attends all scheduled meetings/training and brings suggestions for improvements.

    Other duties assigned by Mr. Fries Man.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Maintain quality work environment and good relationships with team members.

    Possess and instill high quality standards for food quality, production, plate presentation, and guest service.

    Detail oriented, organized, and efficient.

    Responsible for following all safety and security procedures, as directed by Mr. Fries Man policy. Report all accidents, however slight, to your manager immediately.

    Effective communication skills.

    Exhibit courteous, friendly, and professional service to guests.

    Trustworthy and reliable.

    Ability to work productively with minimal supervision.

    Must be able to communicate (speak, read, write) in the primary language of the work location.

    Education/Experience Requirements

    High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.

    Restaurant experience preferred but not required.

    Cash handling experience required.

    Knowledge of TOAST POS system preferred but not required.

    Current and valid Food Handler’s Certificate preferred.

    Must be 16 years of age.

    Must have reliable transportation to work

    Must be able to work morning, night, and weekends, and/or as business operations require.

    Physical Demands

    Stands/walks continuously (up to 5 hours) through the shift. Frequent bending, bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat, use hands, reaching or grasping with hands and arms. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work under pressure and be flexible to work long, sometimes irregular hours including weekends and holidays.

    Working Environment

    Must comply with Company’s Appearance and Dress Code standard as set forth in the Employee Handbook. Works primarily in the kitchen, where air may be moist, warm, and odorous from cooking foods. Kitchen floors are uneven and may be slippery from moisture and grease.
