Manifest Solutions is currently seeking a Tech Lead for an onsite position in Columbus, OH. Looking for a tech lead that can help lead a distributed team to develop a web based graphical and command-line driven chemical structure editing tool (similar to ChemDoodle - https://www.chemdoodle.com/).
- Must be willing to do hands on coding
- Able to work in remote/distributed teams across time zones
- Looking for strong leadership skills - Must have a strong desire to work with junior developers
- Experience with TDD and Test Automation
- Experience in an Agile environment
- Experience building applications for public cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Experience building applications using AWS Serverless technologies such as Lambda, SQS, Fargate, S3 is highly desired
- Experience building containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desired
- Experience with CI/CD. Experience with AWS DevOps tools (CodeCommit, Cloud Development Kit, CDK Pipelines) is highly desired
- Strong communication, organizational savvy, interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Innovates and continuously improves; focuses on areas of highest potential
