    Job Overview:

    As a Supply Chain Tech Lead, you will be instrumental in developing and guiding the technology that underpins our large-scale distributed systems supporting our global e-commerce supply chain. Your role involves shaping our technology infrastructure to ensure it integrates seamlessly with our operations. You will lead the development of advanced e-commerce supply chain technologies such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), fulfillment networks, and inventory forecasting and planning tools, with the goal of streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency.

    In this position, you will collaborate closely with and mentor a high-performing tech team specializing in supply chain technology, fostering an environment that encourages continuous improvement and professional growth. You will also define and implement a long-term technical roadmap, breaking it down into actionable projects with clear milestones and deliverables. Your role includes providing strategic input on technical decisions and guiding the team to execute projects that align with both product and business objectives. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing other related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and our technology initiatives.

    Experience Requirements:

    • Coding and Programming Skills:

      • 5 years of demonstrated proficiency in coding with at least 1 programming language such as Java, Golang, or C++.
      • Experience with relevant technology stacks associated with these programming languages.
    • Middleware Experience:

      • Familiarity with commonly used middleware technologies, including:
        • Message queues.
        • Caches.
        • Scheduled tasks.
      • Understanding of middleware principles and how they integrate into system architectures.
    • Architecture Design and Implementation:

      • Practical experience in designing and implementing software architectures.
      • Strong background in creating high-availability, high-performance, and high-scalability systems.
    • Knowledge of Distributed Systems Theories:

      • In-depth understanding of distributed systems concepts, such as:
        • Load balancing.
        • Distributed transactions.
        • CAP (Consistency, Availability, Partition Tolerance) theorem.
        • BASE (Basically Available, Soft state, Eventually consistent) properties.
    • Experience with Complex Systems:

      • Experience in leading the design or reconstruction of medium to large-scale complex systems.
      • Preferred experience in e-commerce and retail-related fields, including understanding industry-specific challenges and solutions.
