Technical Lead – Intelligence Systems

Reston, VA or McLean, VA | Active TS Clearance Required

Looking for a highly capable Technical Lead with proactive energy to take charge of mission-critical intelligence systems. This role blends hands-on development with team leadership and requires expertise in building complex, integrated software solutions.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a small, agile team of SWE professionals while staying hands-on with C/C++ development.
• Design, build, and deliver integrated systems with hardware and software components.
• Develop and maintain software roadmaps, manage team resources, and ensure milestones are met.
• Implement best practices for development, testing, and system integration.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams as a technical SME to drive key decisions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and ensure system performance at every level.

What You Bring:

• 10+ years writing production-grade software (C or C++ preferred).
• 8+ years leading and building agile teams with proven resource management skills.
• Experience integrating hardware into software solutions.
• Ability to navigate complex systems and established codebases.
• Strong interpersonal skills with experience managing high-profile programs.
• Active U.S. Top Secret clearance (required).

Preferred:

• Experience with SITL/HITL simulation, cybersecurity, or multi-network systems.
• Familiarity with executive-level communication and high-stakes decision-making.

Compensation:

$185,000 -$200,000+ in addition to very strong benefits, commute package, relo if needed, and stock (not options) that will make you smile
