The Role: As the Technical Accounting Manager, you will:
Will own Technical Accounting as an Individual Contributor - there are no direct reports
Lead Technical Accounting Research: Prepare comprehensive memos for complex transactions and develop technical accounting policies to ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations.
Serve as the go-to expert on technical accounting matters, providing guidance across the organization and ensuring everyone understands the implications of ASC 606.
ASC 606 Implementation: Oversee the implementation of ASC 606, evaluating its impact on revenue streams, ensuring accurate documentation, and updating systems and processes for compliance.
Audit Liaison: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and deliverables related to revenue recognition under ASC 606.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and compliance in revenue recognition processes.
What You Bring to the Table
5+ Big 4 experience
Currently in the Big 4 in an Audit or Assurance role
CPA
Strong Technical accounting - revenue recognitionProven ability to manage complex accounting issues and communicate effectively.
A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Compensation $130,000 - 145,000 + bonus/equity
