    Job Description

    This position within Evolution’s Technical Compliance team is responsible for testing and evaluating regulated online gaming technology to ensure compliance with state, federal, and tribal gaming regulatory standards. Games, features, and systems are evaluated for proper functionality and compliance with regulations of each specific authority. It also includes analyzing all technical requirements as needed to provide feedback and documentation to other teams for existing and new markets.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate and test **** RNG based online games, features, and system functionality to ensure compliance against regulatory requirements in North American.
    • Subject matter expert on technical requirements **** for all States and Tribes where online gaming is legal. The ability to analyze software against requirements and effectively communicate the technology’s state of compliance. Understand how Evolution’s technology is implemented and utilized for new and existing products, features, and systems.
    • Develop strong relationships with regulatory authorities, certification, and test laboratories to effectively communicate technical features of our games and systems for regulatory approvals, to identify and resolve issues, and properly communicate the regulatory status of our technology to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Maintain an understand the compliance evaluation process, all systems used to record results of the evaluation, all systems used to manage the testing of the product(s), and overall testing workflow.
    • Ensure game math accurately represents the game design and rules per jurisdictional standards
    • Accurately log issues in a tracking system (JIRA) with appropriate detail for engineering teams to clearly understand and address the issue
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    • Take lead roles on complex or unusual projects, including coordinating testing and clearly communicating work status
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or an Associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of software testing experience; Certification, formal training, experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirements
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
    • Must have the ability to learn and effectively use internal systems, including but not limited to JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint
    • Must have the ability to write reports
    • Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with internal and external parties
    • Must have the ability to manage and organize multiple projects and deadlines concurrently
    • Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness
    • Fluent English to a high standard both verbal and written
    • Knowledge of gambling products
    • Intermediate knowledge in Project management
    • Experience collaborating with remote teams and peers in different time zones
    • Adaptability and high stress resistance
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
    • Solid people skills and the ability to relate professionally with external and internal stakeholders
    • Must have the ability to work at a computer for extensive periods of time
