Role : Technical Data Architect

Primary Skill: IDMC, Data Modelling, Snowflake

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio – 2 times in a month Travel is required.

We are seeking an experienced ETL Architect with in-depth expertise in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and Snowflake. The ETL Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing robust ETL/ELT solutions to manage, process, and transform large data sets. The role requires hands-on technical leadership, architecture design, and collaboration with various teams to ensure efficient data integration workflows that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

ETL/ELT Architecture Design:

• Architect and design scalable, robust ETL/ELT frameworks using Informatica / IDMC and Snowflake to support complex data integration and transformation needs.
• Define best practices for data integration, data quality, error handling, logging, and performance optimization.
• Solution Development:
• Develop and maintain complex data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake using Informatica IDMC.
• Collaborate with data engineers and developers to implement high-performance, fault-tolerant data integration solutions.
• Data Modeling & Warehousing:
• Design and implement data models within Snowflake to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence.
• Optimize database designs for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency in cloud-based environments.
• Cloud Integration:
• Architect solutions that leverage Informatica Cloud for data integration across hybrid, multi-cloud environments.
• Implement data migration strategies to move data from on-premise systems to Snowflake in the cloud.
• Collaboration & Leadership:
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers and data engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Performance Optimization:

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize ETL/ELT job performance.

• Implement efficient query strategies within IDMC and Snowflake to ensure high performance and low latency for data operations.

• Compliance & Security:

• Ensure data governance, compliance, and security standards are adhered to in all ETL processes.

• Implement data encryption, masking, and access control in Snowflake and Informatica IDMC environments wherever applicable.

Experience:

· 10+ years of experience in ETL architecture and data engineering.

· Strong experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and Snowflake

· Expertise in Snowflake architecture, data warehousing, and performance optimization.

· Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Technical Skills:

· Proficiency in designing ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica IDMC.

· Deep understanding of Snowflake's data sharing, time travel, and multi-cluster architectures.

· Strong SQL skills for database querying and optimization.

· Experience with data modeling techniques for both OLAP and OLTP environments.

· Knowledge of data integration best practices, data governance, and cloud-based data migration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Informatica IDMC and Snowflake.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Scala, or other programming languages for data manipulation and integration.
• Experience with real-time data integration and streaming architectures.
• Familiarity with DataOps principles and methodologies
