TECHNICAL SCRUM PROJECT MANAGER - Remote / East Coast Hours
- Responsibilities of the Technical Scrum Project Manager EDC Consulting LLC (EDC) is seeking a remote Technical Scrum Project Manager to lead and manage software project deliveries in a client-facing role.
- This position requires a strong background in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, as well as experience in client management.
- The ideal candidate will be able to effectively facilitate Agile processes, manage client relationships, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions on time and within scope.
The Technical Scrum Project Manager will:
- Manage Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for development teams.
- Ensure that the Scrum team adheres to Agile principles and practices, helping them stay focused and aligned with project goals.
- Serve as a coach and mentor to the team, fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and self-organization.
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team’s ability to deliver value, escalating issues as necessary.
- Foster a culture of transparency and communication across the team, providing visibility into the project’s progress to all stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with product owners and other key team members to define project requirements, prioritize features, and refine backlog items.
- Run status meetings and create Agile-based metrics such as burn-down charts and velocity tracking.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects while maintaining a clear focus on client expectations, scope, and timelines.
- Manage relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs are understood, prioritized, and met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time and within scope and budget.
- Oversee application lifecycle management tools.
- Clearly document and outline business processes and develop PowerPoint presentations to convey critical concepts to clients.
