    Job Description

    As part of the Acumen Insight, Business Intelligence team you will pioneer delivery of data and analytics capabilities through boundary setting technology and innovation. You will play a pivotal role in harnessing the power of data to drive strategic decisions, fostering innovation, and providing market-leading insights to a wide audience within and outside of the AGS organization.

    The Product Manager role plays an integral role in shaping the strategy, design, and development execution of our Acumen Insight platform, primarily focused on dashboard, report, and advanced analytics delivery. This position involves managing complex and strategically significant Business Intelligence capabilities, in collaboration with the development operations teams, business leaders, and end consumers, with full ownership of the product management lifecycle.

    This Product Manager opening will have a focus on enhancing our Market and Rate Intelligence BI data and product capabilities to our Market Analytics, Business Analytics, and Client Delivery teams.

    Your primary responsibilities:

    • Craft a clear product vision, defining strategic goals, and developing a comprehensive product roadmap to guide development
    • Lead the engagement of internal and external stakeholders to gather diverse perspectives for the creation and deployment of new and/or enhancement of Business Intelligence products
    • Translate conceptual user requirements into wireframes, high fidelity concept designs, data and architecture requirements, and feature specifications for database and front-end developers
    • Present the business case for new products and enhancements to Senior Leadership ensuring alignment to organizational strategic objectives
    • Drive innovation around product management efficiencies, tooling capabilities for end users, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementation where applicable
    • Manage the product backlog through SAFe Agile methodology and the creation of epics, stories, and defined acceptance criteria
    • Identify market gaps and customer needs, translating to new product concepts
    • Maintain user personas, journey maps, and empathy maps for supported stakeholder groups
    • Apply and enforce a structured change management approach for product adoption and optimal user experience, including training plans, marketing and communications
    • Maintain product and feature release schedule and communication to stakeholders

    To be successful in this role, you must:

    • Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders; including end-users, technology partners, and leadership.
    • Possess a strong depth of knowledge (deep in domain) and history with industry to ask the right questions (functional business knowledge)
    • Ability to persuade and influence decisions aligned to a diverse group of stakeholders often with varying needs in role and product utilization
    • Stay abreast on industry and technology trends relevant to BI, SAFe Agile and Product Management to ensure we remain on the leading edge of innovation and best practices
    • Demonstrate a robust understanding of technical and data architecture principles to ensure product feasibility and foster innovation.
    • Possess a strong eye for dashboard and reporting design best practices ensuring modern design, effective story telling with data, and reducing time to insights for stakeholders/end users.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years’ experience in product management, business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Effective in eliciting stories, requirements and overall needs from stakeholders and customers
    • Proven ability to effectively story tell with data and analytics through impactful reporting and dashboard design.
    • Experience with BI tools and systems like Snowflake, Power BI, or Tableau , with proficiency in SQL.
    • Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
    • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects from conception to launch.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
    • Ability to think creatively and drive innovation within the BI and AI domains.
    • Experience or familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles is a plus.
    • Jira experience is a plus.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Design, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
