Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE
- You are an enthusiastic and team-oriented leader who focuses emphatically on client relationships satisfaction, project team cohesiveness, and high-quality work product.
- You have experience working in an IT environment and are comfortable discussing technical concepts, terms, and requirements.
- You have a strong background in consulting and/or customer service, with demonstrated expertise in managing strategic client accounts and understanding business goals.
- You are a driver, and can decipher a path forward for others to execute against.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead and advise team members, c-suite leaders, and vendors
- You possess strong emotional intelligence traits, both intangible and intentionally honed.
- You are comfortable delivering and receiving constructive feedback, and you run toward difficult conversations.
- You are relationship focused, and know how to build bridges internally and client-facing.
- You know how to hold people accountable without burning those bridges.
- You understand that details matter; you are both consistent and comprehensive when it comes to administrative discipline.
- You are adaptable; you can navigate successfully in almost any project/account team, project type, client environment, or industry.
- You are committed to a strong and connected company culture.
- You are located near Carle’s operations (e.g., Peoria, Champaign, Bloomington, Dunlap) or are willing to relocate, and you are available for regular travel to client sites, maintaining a balance between client engagement and work-life priorities.
The Tech Stuff
- You have (5) or more years of project management experience, leading technical (infrastructure or cloud-based) and advisory projects
- You are preferably versed in managing work in both Waterfall and Agile delivery frameworks
- You have at least one Project Management-centric certification, preferably PMP or CSM
Nice To Haves:
- You have experience managing or supporting initiatives anchored in merger and acquisition cycles
- Strong understanding of Network, Cloud, and Collaboration/Voice technologies, with experience managing projects in these domains.
- You have experience managing or supporting initiatives within the Healthcare vertical, including large-scale IT implementations.
- Experience managing complex enterprise IT programs with multiple workstreams is a plus.
