    Job Description

    ** General Responsibility**

    The Technical Project Manager is an integral part of the project management team (PM, Software PM, and Sub-PMs) with broad knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering. The role involves taking ownership of the overall technical scope coordination and validation of the project (internal/external). This role will be supporting the Logistic Systems Division.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Lead the technical design and integration process to meet the technical standards of BG and the customer contract, from contract signing to project closure.

    • Communicate and coordinate with the customer, stakeholders, and partners (e.g., suppliers, consultants) on the technical aspects of the project.

    • Define, plan, and monitor the simulation and testing of the system, ensuring that contractual obligations are fulfilled.

    • Work alongside the Project Manager to ensure transparent and open communication of technical and commercial points throughout the project.

    • Manage and coordinate the technical interface aspects of the project, including building interfaces with the client and external suppliers.

    • Share responsibility for cost management (including cost improvements), time, and quality of the project. Evaluate the technical and financial impact of decisions.

    • Collaborate with the procurement team to create and review detailed purchase orders, including technical specifications and scope of supply.

    • Co-manage the requirements management process, focusing on technical requirements, including gathering, mapping, and traceability with stakeholders.

    • Analyze requirements, define technical specifications, and assess the technical changes and their overall impact on both the project’s technical and financial aspects.

    • Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of technical project risks.

    • Review technical documents prior to submission to the customer for approval.

    • Co-manage gate/sub-gate meetings, ensuring the fulfillment of technical tasks and the collection of lessons learned related to technical aspects.

    • Co-manage the quality of final O&M (Operations & Maintenance) and training documentation to support customer needs.

    • Provide technical support to the site during installation, commissioning, and final testing.

    • Be directly involved in the specification approval, design, production, installation, and commissioning phases of project execution.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • A minimum of 10 years of combined experience in engineering, installation, commissioning, and testing of logistics or similar technology systems.
    • At least 5 years of direct experience leading project teams and coordinating across various project disciplines.

    Certifications/Licenses:

    • PMP certification is required, or the candidate must obtain PMI/PMP certification within one year of hire.

    Commitment:

    • Proven ability to set and achieve goals, with a genuine care for others and a strong desire to contribute to a successful team.
    • Must be flexible and willing to travel to job sites as required, up to 50% of the time.
