Position Overview:

Tsunami Tsolutions is seeking a highly motivated individual for a new opportunity in MRO Technical Publications. The Technical Publications Analyst will need experience in the review and authoring of engine manuals, repair manuals, and service bulletins in an aerospace MRO environment. We are looking for a person that is willing to work in a collaborative team environment, and is a self-starter, capable of self-managing daily tasks and priorities.

This role requires the maintenance and distribution of technical publications, to include CDROM, to customers and familiarity with supporting customer legacy systems to ensure commercial manuals are fully maintained and meeting key revision dates. The candidate will be expected to manage and document content changes in different application environments based on regular updates and refreshes. The candidate must also be capable of supporting the commercial legacy systems of our customers and have strong skills in Python, R, and SQL.

This role will have both internal and external customers, so strong customer service and communication skills are important with the ability to speak directly with program managers and be able to provide regular status reports to meet customer deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers on daily, weekly, monthly task requirements to meet scheduled deliverables
• Ensure assigned tasks are completed timely, within schedule and budget
• Identify and communicate risks identified on tasks and provide recommendations to mitigate risks
• Generate re-occurring reports to provide updates on project status and performance
• Strong documentation skills with the ability to manage daily tasks activities that can be used to validate deliverable accomplishments
• Support application deployments in customer environments to include software for illustrations, licenses, and configuration coding

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on Java and Python.
• Extensive experience building and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications using Java (Spring Boot, or similar frameworks) and Python (Django, Flask, or similar).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and best coding practices in both Java and Python.
• Working knowledge of several programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, C#, C++, Ruby, Go, or others).
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, including Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and APIs (REST, GraphQL).
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in developing for web, mobile, or desktop applications.
• Knowledge of data analytics, machine learning, or AI integration.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.

**Preferred Skills & Competencies: **

• Must be willing and able to pass a background investigation and drug screening

• B.S degree in computer science, data science or engineering preferred
• Strong programming skills on languages used in data science such as Python, R and SQL
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with competency in vlookups, pivot tables, etc.

• Ability to effectively communicate findings to non-technical audiences
