Job Summary: The Technical Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates for government positions. This role requires a deep understanding of hiring practices, clearance levels, and requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in federal contract and commercial recruitment and a strong network within the industries. This role is part-time hours with the possibility of full time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for contract and commercial positions.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess their qualifications and fit for specific roles.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate communications, and offer negotiations.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of federal clearance levels and requirements, ensuring compliance throughout the recruitment process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and clients to understand their staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals, to identify and engage potential candidates.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in federal and commercial recruitment and sourcing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment and sourcing activities for government contract and commercial clients.
- In-depth knowledge of federal clearance levels and requirements (e.g., Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and clients.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with federal agencies or government contractors.
- Experience sourcing and recruiting in the commercial sector.
