About the Role
Syntegon is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to lead business development and operational support for our Pre-Engineered product line. In this high-impact role, you’ll identify new market opportunities, manage client relationships, and drive revenue growth—while supporting production scheduling and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Identify Opportunities: Conduct market research and analysis to uncover new clients, markets, and partnerships.
Generate Leads: Proactively prospect through cold calls, networking, industry events, and marketing efforts.
Manage Relationships: Build and maintain strong customer connections; identify upsell opportunities.
Develop Sales Strategy: Design and implement sales plans targeting new customer segments.
Create Proposals: Support sales efforts by reviewing specifications, offering technical guidance, and developing presentations.
Negotiate Deals: Close profitable contracts and manage pricing strategies.
Collaborate Internally: Work closely with sales, product, and operations teams to align goals and close deals.
Analyze Market Trends: Stay informed on industry developments and competitor activity.
Train Partners: Recruit, onboard, and support agents and distributors.
Track Performance: Use CRM software to manage leads, track activity, and generate reports.
Support Operations: Assist with order entry, scheduling, production prioritization, and cost-reduction initiatives.
Represent Syntegon: Attend trade shows and industry events as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or equivalent technical experience.
10+ years in sales/marketing roles with a proven track record.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and CRM tools.
Familiarity with contract terms and sales agreements.
Willing and able to travel up to 75%.
Valid driver’s license and passport.
Preferred:
Experience with AUTOCAD (basic floor plan creation).
Understanding of leasing/financing for industrial equipment.
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Stand for up to 8 hours when required.
Travel by car and plane frequently.
Wear PPE and complete background/drug screening as required.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $98,000. to $125,000. based on a full-time schedule.
Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. At Syntegon compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Total rewards at Syntegon include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
