Job Description
This position drives the sales results and goals for the territory and assigned accounts by product line on assigned sales quota. This is the primary technical sales expert who provides commercial support to the field sales teams, develops sales strategies to secure orders and maintains foremost technical application knowledge. Responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, developing strategic growth plans, and driving revenue by proactively seeking out new markets and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Identifying new business opportunities:
Conduct market research to identify potential new clients, markets, and partnerships that align with company goals.
Lead generation and prospecting:
Generate qualified leads through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and utilizing marketing materials.
Client relationship management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying potential upselling opportunities.
Sales strategy development:
Create and execute strategic sales plans to target new markets and customer segments.
Proposal writing and presentation:
Supports the entire sales organization and channels by reviewing specifications, providing technical sales support, visiting customers and developing compelling proposals and presentations to pitch business solutions to potential clients
Negotiation:
Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients to secure profitable deals.
Collaboration with sales teams:
Work closely with sales teams to qualify leads, manage the sales pipeline, and close deals.
Market analysis:
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity to inform business development strategies. Coordinate with Product Management (PRM), Product Teams and CoC’s to develop product line positioning and USP’s and train field sales personnel
Partner Recruitment and Onboarding:
Identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new agents and distributors, ensuring they understand the company’s products, sales process, and expectations
Reporting and performance tracking:
Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to leadership on business development activities. Use the CRM database program for documenting all sales contracts, calls and sales planning.
Operations:
Support and comply with all applicable Syntegon policies and procedures, including HSE, ISO, Quality, etc. Support value stream initiatives.
Comply with all local and federal laws and IRS rules applicable to the position.
Attend and work tradeshows as required.
Performs other duties and projects assigned.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $98,000. to $125,000. based on a full-time schedule.
Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. At Syntegon compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Total rewards at Syntegon include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
