    About the Position

    The Technical Sales Specialist will be responsible for selling Flow Cytometry reagents and custom solutions to support the research of Biotech, CRO, and Academic customers in the NJ/CT/NY/PA territory. The Technical Sales Specialist will develop and execute revenue generating opportunities and build customer relationships to expand business with both new and existing accounts within the territory. The Technical Sales Specialist will work consultatively with clients and offer tailored solutions to help accelerate research goals. The Technical Sales  Specialist will be a team player and partner with Instrument Specialists and other cross-functional teams to best support customer needs. This role offers significant career growth potential through training, development programs, and mentorship to support continued success within the company.

    About the Job Requirements

    • 2+ years of technical sales, FAS, or customer-facing experience with Life Science tools or services.
    • BS or higher in Biology or Life Science discipline.
    • Technical background and knowledge of Flow Cytometry or Cell Biology.
    • Comfortable speaking and consulting with research clients on a scientific level.
    • Familiarity with biotech and academic research accounts within the territory is a plus.
    • Team player that works well collaboratively in a matrixed-sales environment.
    • Strong work ethic and motivated to achieve in sales and please customers.
    • Travel of 50% or more within the territory is required. Must hold a valid driver’s license.
