EAG Laboratories is seeking Technical Sales Specialist who's primary responsibility is to provide proposals/quotes for customized projects, by focusing on in depth understanding of customer needs, formulating an effective analytical solution for it and further provide a quote with the statement of work.

Responsible for maintaining direct contact with customers and to help understand and develop specific value proposals for target customers. Focus of work may be in pre-sale, post-sales, or both. Demonstrate technical knowledge of broad range of analytical methods and an in depth understanding of customer needs, formulating effective analytical solutions and quoting costs for these solutions.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Materials Science or equivalent in education and experience.
• Experience (academic or industrial) in surface analysis, materials science or microscopy.
• Experience with materials characterization and microscopy techniques (TEM, SEM, FIB/Dual Beam, X-ray, AFM, Raman etc.)
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Must be a proficient communicator and listener.
• Strong analysis and judgment skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to work individually and as part of a team.
• Needs to have excellent relationship-building skills.
• Computer literate, high level of accuracy and detail oriented.
• Must be able to handle multiple functions at the same time and maintain good organizational skills

Additional Information

Base salary range : $110,000-$125,000 (Salary is commensurate with experience and degree of technical expertise.)

** Physical Requirements:**

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Ability to continuously operate a personal computer or lab equipment for extended periods of time (4 or more hours).
• Require close distance visual acuity with or without correction (Glasses, Contacts, etc.)
• Ability to operate a keyboard and other lab equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead.
• Ability to communicate clearly and understandably ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting.
• Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with visitors, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
