    Job Description

    As the Technical Service Sales Manager, you are primarily responsible for providing technical support to customers and internal team members.

     

    Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

    • Support business growth initiatives through product design, evaluation, and qualification activities.
    • Perform qualification trials and troubleshoot at company facilities and customer locations.
    • Actively promote existing products, as well as newly developed technologies to bring manufacturing and processing issues to resolution.
    • Address customer inquiries via phone, in-person, and through on-line networks.
    • Address customer complaints that appear to arise from the use of Company products.
    • Provide quotes and make recommendations for equipment repairs and new equipment installations
    • Always demonstrate the Company’s Core Values
    • Travel as needed approximately 10%-25% of the time

     

    Required Education and Experience:

    • Two (2) years Technical Degree or Equivalent
    • Two (2) years related experience in similar industry, or equivalent experience and training
    • Strong knowledge and experience working with polymers, colorant systems, and chemical additives is desirable
    • Quick to learn company products and processes to allow value-added recommendations and trouble-shooting insight
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be comfortable giving presentations and conducting meetings
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Thorough understanding of equipment, product, industry, and services provided to customers
    • Must be self-starting and able to work under minimal supervision
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office

     

    Supervisory Responsibility:

    None.

     

    Travel Requirement:

    As needed with the sales team and/or individually. While we would like to schedule travel with as much notice as possible, it could be at short notice within two (2) weeks or even the current week and may require overnight stays. This could be determined based on input from customers, Sales, Account Management, and/or QA and may be directed by anyone on our Executive Management Team depending on the need. Travel expectations are approximately 10%-25% of the role.
