    Job Description

    Veolia Water Technology and Solutions is currently seeking a Technical Specialist to join our Services Team to provide technical expertise for our remote monitoring platform, InSight. As a Technical Specialist, you will implement standardized solutions to transform and modernize our data acquisition and trending capabilities for various water treatment technologies. You will work in a highly collaborative, agile environment partnering closely with process analysts and field service representatives to efficiently and effectively monitor water treatment applications.

    • Process experience in RO, UF, EDI, and ion exchange

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Lead creation of new remote monitoring accounts in VWTS’ InSight platform including: Individual asset setup from input/output taglists, Hardware setup for remote monitoring, and Installation and connectivity

    • Support existing account upgrades and ensure standardization

    • Manage hardware obsolescence and replacement programs and support new product adoption

    • Maintain documentation and master data for InSight hardware and PLC program software Provide support to Field Technical Specialists and Process Analysts

    • Provide ongoing troubleshooting support to ensure that we’re maintaining connectivity of data.

    • Provide training to field teams regarding installation, troubleshooting, and basic InSight operations

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities **

    • RO and UF process experience

    • Rockwell software suite

    • Emerson PAC ME software

    • Remote troubleshooting

    • Google Workspace apps

    Education & Experience

    Required:

    • 2 Year degree or technical certificate

    • 2-3 years’ experience with controls and instrumentation with programming experience in various applications including Allen Bradley and Emerson (formerly FANUC)

    • Professional level experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel

    Preferred (if applicable):

    • Certifications in Allen Bradley or Emerson programming

    Working Conditions

    • Travel 1 week a month maximum

    • Remote work in office with some field work
