BI-Tek develops, implements, and supports software used by local government agencies in the management of real estate and personal property appraisal, taxation, and tax collection. We’re currently seeking a Technical Support Representative to work with our end users. Staff tests and document software functions and features, troubleshoots, and resolves issues. The ideal candidate would work well in a small-company, agile environment and been able to understand and configure complex processes and provide general support. Testing and documentation requires an attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness. This is not a development position but technical skills are necessary. Problem resolution will involve technical challenges such as researching and resolving issues with software applications on personal computers as well as servers. This will be an in-person position, office located in the University area of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Responsibilities and Skills:
· Test and document software functions and features
· Understand and configure BI-Tek software to meet customer needs
· Manage customer relationships and expectations
· Act as a liaison between the customer and the BI-Tek development team
· Document, track, and resolve issues
