Industrial Automation products company with product lines that include: PLCs, HMIs, Communications, Drives, Motors, Motion, Process/Fluid Power, and Power Distribution, needs experienced Automation Support Consultants/Automation Engineers candidates with a strong background with AC servo, Variable frequency drives and stepper systems. This role can be located in the North Atlanta, GA area or surrounding states. This role will handle troubleshooting issues and answer technical pre-sale and post-sale questions via email and phone from your home office!

Responsibilities:
- Customer Support/Troubleshooting - Provide solutions to customer issues received via phone, email, and/or chat. May conduct technical research, testing and re-create customer issues using actual equipment and configurations to assist in troubleshooting.
- Training – Attend team meetings and training sessions to learn new products. When not taking calls, may also train/re-train on existing products to increase knowledge.
- Documentation – May create application notes, review product documentation, and update hard-copy or online documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Requires a Technical Degree, a min. of 5 years of experience, or a minimum of 8 years of industry experience.
- Experience with AC servo, Variable frequency drives, and stepper systems products required
- PLC programming and troubleshooting/start-up experience preferred
- Experience setting up and troubleshooting Windows to industrial Ethernet network preferred
- HMI programming and troubleshooting experience preferred
- Communications experience with various industry networking solutions (DeviceNet, Profibus, etc.) is preferred
