    Job Description

    Provide technical, analytical, and developmental services support on the following, but not limited to; Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems (e.g. Automated Digital Network System (ADNS), Global Command and Control System-Maritime (GCCS-M), Computer Network Defense (CND), training systems (e.g. Virtual Hosting Environment (VHE), Network Security Vulnerability Technician (NSVT), support equipment, Joint systems (e.g. Joint High Speed Vessel (JHSV)) and Foreign Military systems. Develops, writes, and edits material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures, and installation, operation, and maintenance of machinery and other equipment. Conducts the production, developmental, and experimental activities to provide operating procedures and details. Interviews production and engineering personnel and reads journals, reports, and other material to become familiar with product technologies and production methods. Organizes material and completes writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology. Reviews published materials and recommended revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and work methods. Edits material prepared by other writers or plant personnel.

    Qualifications

    • Write, edit, and format technical documents including user manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), system documentation, and training materials.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to gather information and understand system functionalities, specifications, and workflows.
    • Ensure all documentation adheres to organizational standards and style guides.
    • Assist in organizing and maintaining documentation libraries and content repositories.
    • Create diagrams, charts, and other visuals to enhance clarity and comprehension.
    • Participate in peer reviews and incorporate feedback to improve content accuracy and readability.
    • Maintain version control and update documentation as needed throughout the project or product lifecycle

    Qualifications:

    • A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor's degree in English, technical communication, or a related field is preferred.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Familiarity with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, or Google Docs.
    • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely.
    • SECRET security clearance minimum

    Additional Information

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to work on Government contracts.
    • Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
