SPIN Global is a Maryland-based public benefit corporation that exists to disrupt disasters from neighborhoods to nations. We are seeking qualified applicants to build a deployment-ready cadre, prepared to support response operations as opportunities arise. Applicants must possess a FEMA Entry on Duty (EOD).
Responsibilities
- Create review, and edit technical documents related to disaster fieldwork or specialized fields of expertise.
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills to ensure the clarity and accuracy of complex information.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts and project teams to develop comprehensive documentation and reports.
Requirements
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study and at least 5 years of experience in disaster fieldwork or technical writing.
- Graduate-level degree or professional registration with at least 2 years of experience in disaster fieldwork or technical writing is preferred.
- Alternatively, 10 years of experience in disaster fieldwork or a related field of expertise.
- Proficiency in desktop publishing, multimedia production, and online documentation tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to respond to changing guidance, priorities, and processes.

- IS-1002: FEMA Grants Portal - Transparency at Every Step
- IS-1004: The FEMA Site Inspection Process

- 7116: Program Delivery Manager
- 7117: Site Inspection.
- Work onsite in North Carolina.
