    Job Description

    Job Description:

    As a technician of engineering, you will work under the direction of the Engineering team to support engineering activities by participating in the test of qualification stress tests. You will identify improvements to our processes and procedures.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Conduct and support performance and electrical functional tests on integrated circuit devices during all phases of the qualification process from experimental to device qualification.
    • Assist the QRE team with testing, validation, and verification.
    • Maintain careful documentation of all work.
    • Use manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment, including Kalos2 tester, COHU multitest handler, Environmental Chambers, and more.
    • Assure that all the pertinent documentation is accurate and complete.
    • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
    • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.

    Qualifications

    Requirements/Qualifications:

    • 2-year technical degree with significant focus on electronics (e.g. AAS in EET) or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.
    • 3-6 years of work-related experience

    Job Skills Required:

    • Ability to read and understand electrical test procedures.
    • Ability to load test programs / upload results with minimal engineering supervision.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with the engineering team.
    • Ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office Suite of software products
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented person who can manage a fast-paced environment, has a sense of urgency, is flexible and will prioritize tasks to meet internal goals
    • Good verbal and written communication skills are essential. Must have the ability to work with people at various levels, including engineers, operators, inspectors, quality , customer and government representatives

    The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in California, is $17.55-$31.73.*

    *Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
