Job Description
American Technology Services is seeking a skilled copywriter with experience in business writing, social media, long form, content-at-scale, and messaging to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will play an important role in building ATS’ brand presence and domain authority through compelling content creation across multiple channels, engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
This position requires an understanding of technology solutions, industry trends, solution-focused writing, and a strategic approach to digital content. The candidate must be proficient in SEO, data-driven content production, and social media management with an eagerness to learn how to leverage innovative and best-in-class marketing tools to maximize impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop high-quality, engaging, and informative B2B content for blogs, articles, social media posts, marketing materials, and interdepartmental projects that resonate with ATS’ target audiences. Topics will cover technology solutions, cybersecurity, cloud, compliance frameworks, software and app development, and emerging industry trends.
- Social Media Strategy & Execution: Plan, write, and publish compelling social media content across LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms. Optimize posts for engagement, industry reach, event promotion, service awareness, and lead generation.
- SEO & Data-Driven Optimization: Integrate SEO strategies within all content efforts, utilizing keyword research, content gap analysis, competitor research, and performance tracking to refine and optimize reach.
- Thought Leadership & Industry Authority: Support ATS’ positioning as a leader in IT and cybersecurity by creating informative and insightful content that aligns with marketing goals, key industry topics, and best practices.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing director, graphic designer, sales team, and technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to align content with business objectives and client needs.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain ATS’ brand voice and messaging consistency across all platforms, materials, and channels, in alignment with strategic marketing goals.
- Content Management & Scheduling: Maintain high levels of proficiency in delivering content across calendars, ASAP projects, and ad hoc deliverables for articles, social media, and digital campaigns, ensuring timely execution and maximum impact.
- Multimedia Support: Under the marketing director’s lead, you will work with the ATS graphic designers, content subject matter experts from cybersecurity to government cloud, and developers to produce engaging and informative content, repurpose long-form materials into short-form digital assets, and optimize social media for trending formats.
